The Real Deal About Andropause Symptoms

Over the past hundred years or so, there have been numerous debates over whether or not men experience hormone fluctuations in relevance to a monthly cycle. While I for one, have not noticed any of these symptoms (my wife might say differently), I can in fact tell you that andropause or male menopause. What? Male menopause. Yes, I thought it was all a bunch of hogwash until I began experiencing real life andropause symptoms. In this article, Ill discuss andropause as well as the symptoms of this condition.

First of all, you must understand what Andropause entails. Andropause is basically menopause for women. It typically strikes men between the ages of 40 and 55. Unfortunately for men there isnt a milestone, such as women have with the end of menstruation to single onset of andropause. Instead it is something that just happens to you. One day you start noticing some weird symptoms and dont exactly feel right and then realize that these feelings are caused by a significant drop in testosterone.

The way I understand it is like this, as we age, our body goes through gradual changes, in men this process is even slower. What andropausal men notice is the changes in moods, fatigue, loss of energy, decreased sex drive and physical agility. They might also notice the onset of depression. In addition to all this, this decline in testosterone also puts men at risk for other health problems such as heart disease and weak bones.

Although some people chalk up these feelings to a mid life crisis, it is more than that. Yes, it occurs during a time when men are wondering about their place in life, their values and beliefs and accomplishments. However there is a physical side to all this as well and these symptoms shouldnt be ignored.

Heres a list of the most common symptoms that you should keep in mind:

1.Decrease in Sex Drive this effects not only your interest in sex but the frequency as well. You may also find that it is less enjoyable.

2.Fatigue and Less Energy your pace will be considerable slower. Where you may have been able to go all and night before, you may now find that those same activities take you much longer and requires more effort.

3.You Body Composition if you are a fairly sedentary man you will find that you lose about 10% of your lean body mass every 10 years after the age of 30. To make matters worse the loss in muscle leads to an increase in fat mass.

4.Forgetfulness, Concentration problems this is a noticeable change in the ability to remember. The ability to focus also becomes more difficult. 5.Feelings of Anger, Anxiety, Depression and/or Irritability things that used to be no big deal are now a big deal.

6.Sleep you will find that it is more difficult to fall asleep, be restless during sleep and not sleep well. Deep sleep is vital to the body being able to regenerate and get ready for the next day. Not having this plays in the symptoms in number

7. Over time this can cause major health problems.

8.Increased risk of bone fractures- this is very similar to what women go through, and in men it tends to happen much later in life.

In conclusion, if you think youre suffering from andropause, dont ignore the symptoms. Instead, take some time out, discuss your symptoms with your physician because there are things that can be done to help cope with and deal with andropause.

Advantages and Disadvantages of Email

With the growing popularity of the Internet more and more people are communicating via email. This fast and efficient method of communication is perhaps the preferred method of online communication at the present with thousands upon thousands of emails being sent each day. The many uses of email are what make it so appealing and so versatile. Whether you are sending a greeting to a grandparent or sending files to a coworker, you can easily utilize email to do so.

Email has come quite a long way since its introduction, yet it is still used for many of the same reasons. Basic electronic communication has essentially evolved into a more resourceful tool as one has the ability to do much more now then they once could. Along with the usual sending of files and text messages through email, one can send greeting cards, manage their emails by assigning them to folders or classifying them as junk and even organize and manage their daily tasks on some email servers.

This wonderful tool is not without its downside however. Some people choose to send worms and viruses via email and in the process infect and damage quite a lot of computers. A virus email can often be very difficult to detect, especially to someone with very little knowledge of computer viruses and how they work. If you notice that you have an anonymous email or an email with a name foreign to you then you may not want to open this email as may likely be a viruses and the mere act of opening the email makes your computer susceptible to infection.

Along with the abovementioned problems privacy has also become an issue with email activity. Virtually every email that you send has to go through a number of computers before it reaches the inbox of the intended receiver and along the way there exists a distinct possibility that an individual could hack into your email and read it. Thus it is imperative that you have a bullet proof password.
