Adopting A New Puppy

Before rushing out to buy or adopt a puppy it is recommended that you seriously consider the impact this will have on your life. Examine the reasons of your decision. Why do you want a dog? Are there young children in your family? Do you live in a house with a yard or an apartment? How much time do you have to devote to your new puppy? There are many questions to ask yourself before jumping into this decision. Puppies need to be fed, walked, played with and loved. They need a great deal of constant attention. If you don't have the time, please wait until you can devote much of your day to him. As he ages, he will not need as much attention, but like a newborn, your pup needs you. Anyone who thinks they want a dog should step back for awhile and truly understand the impact he will have on their lives.

Not everyone should have a dog! Some people, for whatever reasons, simply do not have the time or the ability to care for a dog. Caring for a dog is a lot of hard work. A dog cannot take care of himself. From the minute he enters your family, you will be responsible for feeding, watering, exercising, training, playing, and sheltering him. A dog is a very social animal.

There are many different breeds of dogs and it is extremely important to choose the correct breed for you and your family. If you choose incorrectly, the dog will be in the SPCA before you know it. After all, there are over 130 breeds officially registered with the AKC. There are sporting dogs, working dogs, hounds, terriers, toy dogs, and nonsporting dogs.

So how do you decide which breed of dog is right for you? Some veterinarians feel that mixed breeds make better family pets because they have calmer temperaments and are less expensive. Others feel that purebreds are much more predictable as far as future temperament and size. A purebred pup allows you predict what he will be like as an adult.

Choose a puppy that reflects your personality. Are you active? Do you like staying at home? Do you like the outdoors? Are you hyper? Are you laid back? Do you work all day? You must choose a breed that will compliment your personality. Also consider your lifestyle. Are you flexible enough to work around your pup's needs? An example: Our family goes on vacation each year to the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We have two Labrador Retrievers that we leave behind for the week. Our two dogs must be kennelled or stay with friends. This can be very expensive and stressful.

In conclusion: Please take time to consider your decision. Choose your breed carefully. Above all else - enjoy the new member of your family.

Commonly Asked Tennis Questions

With all the odd scoring and numerous rules surrounding tennis, it's no wonder that people sometimes confuse the rules. To that end, we've created this article to help you to know the answer to some of the most commonly asked questions regarding the game of tennis. All rules discussed in this article reflect the stance of the International Tennis Federation, a governing party of the sport.

Q: What happens when the ball bounces off of a line on the court?

A: When a ball bounces off of a line on the court, it is generally considered to be a bounce on the inside of the court that it is protecting. If your opponent hits a ball right around the outside line, and you cannot for sure determine that the ball is out, general rules stipulate that the opponent should be given the benefit of the doubt and they should receive the point.

Q: What happens if I hit a ball that hits the net post or another court entity and then bounces onto the opponents side of the court?

A: If you hit a ball off of either the net post, the scoring device, or any other outside entity besides the net before bouncing onto your opponent's side, you lose the point due to the fact that the ball hit a permanent fixture before landing on the opponent's side of the court.

Q: When should players change what side they are playing on?

A: Players should switch sides of the court after every six points and after a Tiebreak. During the tiebreak, the change must be made immediately with no opportunity for break or delay.

Q: What's a foot fault? How can one be called for a foot fault?

A: A foot fault occurs when a player's feet are at rest before hitting the ball, but they are moved before the shot so that a foot hits one of the following positions:

- the court, including the baseline
- any part of the imaginary extension of the outer mark
- anywhere beyond the imaginary extension found outside of the singles guideline or the doubles guideline, depending on the match type.

To avoid being called for a foot foul, you should ensure that your server is relaxed and stationary. This means that you should avoid any type of serve that involves more than one foot's movement to avoid being called for the foul.

Penis School - Parts Of The Penis

The penis is an integral part of the male genitalia and is the external organ utilized for urination and sexual reproduction. The penis is comprised of three separate columns of tissue utilized in the erectile functions. The penis relies solely on blood flow that engorges it in order to form its rigid state necessary for sexual intercourse.

The "corpus cavernosum" and "corpus spongiosum" are the erectile tissues located in the penis. While the "corpus spongiosum is located just on the underside of the penis, the "corpora cavernosa" is made up of two side-by-side columns on the top side of the penis. When the end of the "corpus spongiosum" is engorged with blood, it forms the glans penis which is cone-shaped and enlarged. The foreskin (prepuce) is a loose flap of skin that is retractable and exposes the glans. The glans is what supports the foreskin. On the underside of the penis is the frenum.

Traversing the "corpus spongiosum" is the urethra, which is part of the urinary tract that runs along the penis. The opening of the urinary tract is the "meatus." The "meatus" is the passage for semen ejaculation and urine and lies on top of the glans penis. Sperm is stored in the epididymus and is produced by the testes, to which it is attached.

The raphe is the visible ridge between the two lateral halves of the underside of the penis that run from the "meatus" to the perineum across the scrotum. When the penis ejaculates semen, the sperm is sent up two ducts that pass behind and over the bladder, the vas deferens. During this trip, more fluid is added to the ejaculate by the seminal vesicles. The vas deferens turn into the ejaculatory ducts, which adjoin the prostate gland and the urethra. The bulbourethral glands and the prostate add even more secretions to the ejaculate just before the semen is expelled through the penis.

Nirut Fights the River of Cibara (22,495 BC-In Conquest of Planet Cibara)

Not much has been said of Cibara, but it is a planet near Moiromma, next to Earths solar system (I have written some about it when writing about the Cadaverous Planets, these past four years). It became inhabitant with Hells demonic forces (slowly but surely), dominating the little folks on the planet. This did not take place until after the death of Nirut for the most part (yet it was being penetrated slightly during his life time, and at the time of his victory), but during his 16-years of conquering what the Blue King did not conquer, he did. You see, Cibara was seen as a useless planetoid, to the Blue King, a waste of effort you could say, not worth his time. But to Nirut, it was a thorn in his side; it was just in his way, yet he did go quite a distance out of his way to get to it. And so he went after the king himself, King Cibara I, and the whole battle took place on the river, as Nirut chased Cibaras Army down the river with his merciless voice daunting him, and here is how it took place:

But once they reached the fork where the river ran wild,
the strong, whirling Yahoo sprung up to immortal Rue;
Nirut split the Lihterbion rout, driving one half
back toward the city, scattering up the plain
where the other Cibaranites themselves stampeded off in error
just as Niruh raged after them unchecked.
Now on their tracks the Cibaranites fled recklessly
while King Cibara I, spread dense smoke ahead to block their way.
Niruts army was crammed in boats on the Revlis River
into its spume rock bottom Nirut and Niruhs boats tumbled, flailing
and spun into the tumbling river rapids, boisterous with its roaring:
the men yelled, and bellowed, swimming madly, to and fro;
the boats revolving every which way in a vortex. Crazy like crickets
the soldiers of Nirut, swarming, trying to get out of the pot, climbing over one another,
flitting towards the banks of the rivertirelessly in a frenzy,
so at Niruts charged the Cibaranites swirling boats beyond the smoke;
choked with the spate of the rivers roar, water and smoke, he roared.
Yet King Cibara I had let him into this trap, this god-spun hero of Lihterb.
And Nirut could see him leap like a hyperactive deity, his heart racing
Slander from his mouth, his sword in hand, slashing, breaking the wind.
The boats were flushed with blood and water, escaping the tumbling.
Like dead fish, the banks of the river were littered with Lihterbion flesh.
Many terrified for their lives, no man on Lihterb had ever seen such rapids.
Now cowered under its bluffs, was King Cibara I, and his troops
they had hid from the onrush, waiting for the killing of Nirut, but
Nirut rounded up his men, blood dazed like flattened sponges,
their war armor half hanging on to them, on cut straps, half insane,
friends leading away friends, others weak and beckoning for help,
and back into the boats and the whirling tempest of the waters they went,
and drove to the cliffs where the Cibaranites went, escaping the rapids.

Nirut seized King Cibara I, on this twilight raid, and hauled him away,
resisting all the way, cutting his finger nails into the marauder Yahoo,
but he was to pay the price; his world would pay a princely ransom
and they did, struggling to bring King Nirut ten days of gold and silver,
then to cast him into the House of Death, swift there runners who came
with more gold to give, ran off and hid it in the nearby hills, for Nirut
had hung him for his pleasuredisarmed, his shield, helmet, spear
by his feet, underneath, as his soldiers clamored exhaustedlypleased!
The rest of his army were taken for slaves, some fled the fatal day

So the illustrious son of the Blue King won the battle, and planet,
and only one battle did it take, a merciless one at that, The fool,
should not have talked to me of ransom, I broke my word;
the son of a great man, he never was; I could have gotten more, but destiny was true, it warmed my soul to not spare his, gold or silver, naught. I took him alive, and watched his people flee his death, not one of their gods came to help, the devils from earth, saw my strong force of fate waiting.

King Nirut knew there would come a sunrise or sunset when Hell itself
would take this planet in a secret battle, not even flinging a spear perhaps,
or even shooting a deadly arrow from their shouldersInevitable, he said.
At that, he let go of such thoughts, his sharp sword by his side,
blood pouring from the mouth of the dead king, his neck broken,
sprawled and stretched face down on Cibaraion soil, drenched in a dead shadow, I hail form your rich soil, a far cry to you, King Cibara,
wherever you may be, I come form Lihterb, I am the son of the Blue King,
still lusting to sink my spears into your planets fleshbut I must move one.
(And so he did, the young king of Lihterb, Lord of the Black Galaxy.)

Strategic Thinking For Business Owners For Successful Retirement

Small business owners know that running a small business requires constant attention. And small business owners, especially entrepreneurs, tend to work in their business rather than work on their business. And that is one reason why it should be no surprise that too many entrepreneurs and small business owners put their own financial planning squarely at the bottom of their TO DO lists. In fact, a survey conducted by Harris Interactive for ShareBuilder indicated that 47% of small business owners are not confident that they are prepared for retirement.

Using a strategic thinking approach to the subject of financial planning and retirement, there is a recognition and confirmation that small business owners and entrepreneurs have tremendous opportunities to remedy the lack of preparation for retirement, which incorporates the role of an exit strategy and succession plan. The small business owner has the opportunity to use strategic thinking in developing a well thought out retirement plan that includes strategies related to a company employee retirement plan; investments beyond re-investing in the business; diversified investments; an exit strategy and a succession plan. There are far too many business owners that are not considering the future of his or her business. Another fact from the survey by ShareBuilder shows that 60% of the business owners surveyed have NO PLANS to sell their business to help fund their retirement but for other owners, such a sale can be a crucial part of a successful retirement plan.

Business owners need to develop a strategic plan for their retirement, especially when they make the commitment to count on selling their business to help fund their retirement. This means preparing a well-thought out exit strategy and succession plan. An article entitled, Strategic Actions For A Strategically Structured Succession Planning For Company Leadership can be found at (http://ezinearticles.com/?Strategic-Actions-For-A-Strategically-Structured-Succession-Planning-For-Company-Leadership&id=503696).

Your Strategic Thinking Business Coach has developed a list of actions to consider when developing your strategic retirement plan as a business owner.

1.Commit to making your retirement planning for you and your business a priority with a specific timeline.

2.Develop and define a clear and focused vision for you and your business in your retirement.

3.Develop a list of retirement goals that fit into your defined retirement vision.

4.Gather the necessary financial information for your business and any existing retirement plan information for your business.

5.Recruit and engage the professional services of a certified, experienced, respected and trusted financial adviser and planner.

6.Seek advice from other key advisers as part of your team for the development of your plan. This would include legal counsel, accounting and business coaching.

7.Develop the specifics of the retirement plan(s) for the company employees and for yourself. Review the draft plans with your team of advisers. Adopt the plans when you are satisfied they will meet your vision and goals and then present the plan(s) as appropriate (excluding the personal and confidential parts for yourself) to the company employees.

8.Implement the plan(s).

9.Monitor the plan(s) and make adjustments as required.

10. Continue working on your business and building more value.

Small business owners and entrepreneurs have some extraordinary opportunities to plan their retirement. And I would suggest that those great attributes of creativity, strategic thinking and planning and discipline that helped the owner build their business will help them create a strategic retirement plan that will get them to their vision.
